These records can be used by a veterinarian during periodic check or by the horse care giver where needed. The Horse Identity program offers two mobile applications namely Horse-ID and Horse Medic used by horse owners\/caregivers and horse\u2019s veterinarians respectively. This page is meant as a guideline\/manual during the usage of the Horse Medic mobile app which is available on both <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/app\/id1517206800\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">App Store<\/span><\/a> for iOS and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.eurosmartict.android.horsemedic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Play<\/a><\/span> for Android.<\/p><p><b>Enrollment &amp; Activation<\/b><\/p><p>After launching the Horse Medic app on your mobile device, the enrollment page is shown. After filling up the requested details and enrolling it with the Horse Identity Program, an activation code is emailed to your given address. You can either fill the activation code or scan the qr-code received in the email using Horse Medic app. After activation, Your Horse Medic app is ready for use.<\/p><p><strong>Navigation Tabs<\/strong><\/p><p>Horse Medic presents a number of navigation tabs namely:<\/p><ul><li>Overview Tab<\/li><li>Identity Tab<\/li><li>Contact Tab<\/li><li>History Tab<\/li><li>Medical Tab<\/li><li>Consultations Tab<\/li><li>Settings Tab<\/li><\/ul><p>The default page is the overview page.<\/p><p><strong>Overview Page<\/strong><\/p><p>The overview page is the default page you see after starting the application. It enables you to get horse dossiers by filling in or scanning the horse profile associated Identification code. An identification code, is a unique code generated by Horse Identity portal and is assigned to a horse profile using the Horse-ID app.<\/p><p><strong>Horse Dossier<\/strong><\/p><p>The horse dossier is made of a number of pages accessible using the navigation tabs, the contents of these pages are presented after retrieving the horse dossier using the associated Identification code. These pages are:<\/p><ul><li>Identity Page: for viewing the horse identification data including photos.<\/li><li>Contact Page: for viewing the owner's, care giver, veterinarian and insurance details.<\/li><li>History Page: for viewing reproduction, training, racing and nomination data.<\/li><li>Medical Page: for administering the horse vaccinations, housing types, medical schedule, allergies, diet supplements and other health related activities.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Granting Access to Horse Medic App<\/strong><\/p><p>Access to your Horse Medic app is granted by the owner of the Horse-ID. This enables you to view the contents of the horse dossier scanned and to update the horse medical dossier. This is done using the \"Authorize Medic Device\" button in the setting page at the Horse-ID app and by adding your Horse Medic serial number to the access list of Horse-ID.
